DOUBLE CELEBRATION

The Veuve Clicquot Businesswoman of the Year award is an international accolade, awarded in 18 countries, this award recognises outstanding business performance and in particular rewards successful business women who demonstrate that they are prepared to take risks to achieve results who have achieved significant growth for their company.  Dagmar Fritz received this award as a result of her innovative approach to business which has resulted in her achieving a larger market share for Baufritz despite an overall downturn in the industry in Germany.  She also won praise for her employee relations and eco-friendly approach to business.

Baufritz was also awarded first prize in the ‘Family Factor’ awards run by the Federal Ministry for Family Affairs in Germany which is overseen by Angela Merkel herself.  Baufritz offers flexible working to its staff and also provides an award winning crèche facility which is free to use.  The crèche is paid for by all the staff who work one day per year for free and the money saved pays for this excellent service.  Baufritz was praised for setting a fine example for the German economy in this area.
